Using soap dough in soap is something that I have been experimenting with, and I have to say that I was so happy with the way my Gnome Soap turned out. Soap Dough is cold process soap, that you don’t let saponify, which enables you to mold into different shapes. To me, the possibilities are endless.
So far, I’ve only successfully made small batches of these types of soap, but eventually I do hope to make bigger batches, I just have to get a few more under my belt.
I wanted this soap to have a herbal spring like scent, and I do believe I accomplished this. It has been scented with blackcurrant and aromatic figs which are magically blended with wild honeysuckle, Umbrian truffles, warm amber and woody patchouli. A delightful scent that goes with a cherry soap.
Below is a video showing the making of this soap, and I ho[e you enjoy it! Thanks for watching and reading~Darlene.
