Making Winter’s Heirloom Soap

Winter’s Heirloom Soap has a soft delicate floral scent, that I personally really like.  It will remind you of an heirloom bouquet of winter magnolias, centifolia and damask roses, while notes of sambac jasmine emerge from a warm bed of patchouli, silver cedar and vanilla amber!  This is a new scent, from my supplier, and I had no idea if it would discolour, but suspected it would due to the vanilla content.  Also I just got in my new swirling tool, so I wanted this soap to have some beautiful swirls, and if everything turned brown, that wouldn’t look good, so I decided not to add the fragrance to the coloured parts of the soap.

The soap did discolour as you will see below, but I am happy with the result.  This soap was just made and won’t be available until mid December.  Thank you for watching and visiting my blog.  Until next time ~Darlene
