These soaps are so fun. I’m really happy with the way they have turned out. They are fairly labor intensive, but I do enjoy making them, and when they are finished they make me smile. These have been scented in strawberry (which really does smell like strawberry), and coloured with a lovely pink mica, from Saraphina’s Coastal Colours.
The horns and ears are made separately using my own soap dough. What is soap dough? Well it’s soap, that you don’t let get exposed to air, that is mold-able. Each horn and ears have been made by hand, and does take quite a bit of time. I made eleven horns and twenty two ears.
After the soap has been made, I let it sit overnight, and the next day cut it into bars. Then the fun happens, as I pipe on the soap, add the horn and ears, carve out the eyes and lashes and glitter then up.
These will be available around the beginning of November. Below is a short video showing the process. Thanks for reading and watching~Darlene!
