Making and Cutting Turmeric and Tea Tree Soap

Now more than ever it is important to wash our hands. With Covid-19 I thought it especially important to make a soap with some anti-bacterial properties.Turmeric and Tea Tree have anti-bacterial properties. Turmeric has many good benefits in soap.  It can help with dry skin, and irritated skin, soothing the skin to help feel better. It can help with acne, and it is anti-inflammatory

Tea Tree Essential Oil is steam distilled and extracted from the leaves of the Australian Melaleuca alternifolia plant.  Tea Tree Essential Oil is antibacterial, fungicidal, antiseptic, and germicidal, making it a good ingredient for an anti-bacterial soap.

Lavender Essential Oil has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. The fresh, floral scent of lavender has a calming effect on the body.

Peppermint Essential Oils  works as an antiseptic skin cleanser.  It has a nice fressh clean scent, and when combined with Tea Tree and Lavender, the combination is very fresh and clean smelling.

This soap has just been made and will be available around the middle of May.  Below is a short video, showing the making and cutting of this soap. Thanks for taking the time to read this blog post and watching my video.  Wash your hands and stay safe~Darlene
