Where are you located?
Our handmade soap is made on location in Abbotsford, BC, Canada. You can find our products at the Abbotsford Farmers Market (check our Events page for dates and times),  at Tourism Abbotsford, You can also purchase product from our little soap shop, but this is by appointment only.

How are your soaps made?
Our cold process soaps are made from scratch using plant based ingredients and natural colorants. Our soaps contain a very high percentage of Olive Oil (very mild and gentle on the skin), and then we add other skin loving ingredients such as Coconut Oil, Certified Sustainable Palm Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Jojoba Oil, and Castor Oil. These ingredients produce mild gentle soaps with a soft creamy lather, that are good for your skin.

Are your soaps “Natural”?
We have two basic ranges in our soap “Natural” and “Nearly Natural”. Both are made exactly the same way, the exception being that in our Natural line, we only use pure essential oils to scent these soaps. If you don’t know, essential oils come from plants, so these scents are usually more earthy. In our Nearly Natural soaps we scent these with Fragrance Oils, which can be synthetic. We only purchase high quality fragrance oil, that are Phthalate Free.

Do you use “Lye” in your soap?
Yes we use “Lye” in our soap. True soap cannot be made without lye. Once the soap is made there is no longer any lye remaining in the soap. A chemical reaction has occurred called “Saponification”. Saponification makes Glycerin. All of our soaps contain 100% of their natural glycerin, leaving your skin clean and soft.

Do you use Mineral Oil or Sodium Laurel Sulfate in your products?
None of our products contain Sodium Laurel Sulfate or Mineral Oil, as we believe these are not good ingredients.

Do you test your products on Animals?
None of our products are tested on animals, although my black lab loves getting her bath using our natural soaps.
