Welcome to my website and blog!  My name is Darlene and I am the creator of Mountain Farms Soap. I have been making cold process soap since 1997 and I formed Mountain Farms Soap in 2001. If you would like to read more about my story, please go here.

You can find us at the Abbotsford Farmer’s Market one Saturday a month during the summer months.  Dates are always posted on the Events Page.

Recently I have had a shop built so if you would like to come by and purchase product in my Little Soap Shop,  just give me a phone call or email, as my shop is open by appointment only at this time. I will occasionally open up my shop to the public and this will be on our Events Calendar.

About The Soaps We Offer

Our Cold Process soaps have been created using traditional vegetable oils which are naturally gentle and nourishing. Moisturizing Olive Oil, Certified Sustainable Coconut and Palms Oils, Organic Cocoa Butter or Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil and Castor Oil are blended with high quality essential oils or fragrance oils to create a soap that is luxuriously creamy and gentle. These soaps are created to be beautiful and luxurious, and enhance your bathing experience. If properly cared for these soaps are long lasting.  All of our oils are sourced from certified sustainable sources.

Did you know that during the saponification process natural glycerin is formed.  It stays in the bars which is a natural humectant drawing moisture to your skin. Our bars are hand stamped and wrapped by hand. A wonderful treat for yourself or a friend. The soaps weigh between 120 – 130 grams, which are much larger than most soaps on the market today.  In fact many people like to cut them in half, to make them last even longer.

The soaps are cured for a minimum of 4 weeks, before they are available to our customers for sale.

We offer a wide range of soap scents, so there is sure to something for everyone.  We also can provide custom soap, wedding or party favors, or soap logs.  Just give me a phone call or email, and I would be happy to work with you!
